I have a 1968 chevelle and I'm getting a bad humming sound coming thur the dash get worse as accelerate

The whole car was restored disconnected
speedo still grinds hums...compressor is rebuilt
and is kind of noisy when in gaged at idol.

Not yet but since drive shaft has been balanced it much better but I still have lifter chatter but it is getting quieter. It's a new blue print 496 big block it's I screamer! Let you know as time goes by.
