Why does A/C fan and turn signal stop working?

Asked by mckeeml Aug 31, 2014 at 06:19 PM about the 1992 Toyota Corolla

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1992 Toyota Corolla (4 door).  At the same time the following stopped working:
1. A/C fan
2. turn signals
3. radio
4. temperature gauge
5. fuel gauge
6. wipers
The following still work
1. horn
2. hazard
3. headlights
4. done light
The engine continued to run until I turned it off.  When I tried to
start the engine, the starter would not work.
hat could cause all of these systems to stop at the same time?
Thanks
