Question type: Maintenance & Repair

several mech. shops have tested all electrical components and said all was ok. i had an alarm system installed and all was good for a year, or so, and now battery keeps dying. i have battery recharged and car runs very well for a few months then try to start and just get a clicking noise. i hav e another 92 camry with the same problem and the same alarm situation and installer.

Yes it can, possibly, Sounds like a parasitic draw. Your mechanics need, well something if they say everything is all hunky dorey but your battery keeps going dead. Pull the fuse out of the alarm and see if the battery stays up then

Check to see how the alarm system is installed. it sounds like the alarm is draining your battery which means that it is drawing to much electricity. do you leave your car sitting for extended amounts of time? or without driving long distances or starting it and letting it run for about minutes? it could be that your battery is dying because you are not letting the vehicle run long enough for the alternator to be able to charge your battery up again.

Sounds like your battery is dying out some one cell dryup. Ck. battery ends make sure clean electrify can't go through a bad end and won't charge itself, take it ato autozone and when they check it put a load on battery.probly bad end because there checking from the in post I would think.maybe battery test again.
