engine cuts when idling

the components are Air, Fuel, and spark...perhaps you'd better make sure there is fuel pressure, and the rotation and degree of spark...use a screwdriver instead and check against ground...there is another piece of the puzzle, and that is air control..on yours is a MAP sensor grid, which may be choked...check the air filter...check the pcv valve...you will find the trouble...it might be the timing chain...and the tension....might be worn out and needs a new chain, tensioner and sprockets, at this point~
