toyota sienna transmission

Asked by May 27, 2016 at 07:52 PM about the 2003 Toyota Sienna

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am looking to buy a toyota sienna.  I had it checked by a mechanic who said
that the fluid was dirty and gritty which means that the transmission is going
bad.  It drives well, with no noticeable problems.

Turn around and RUN away from this one, it sounds like a potential can of worms, if the tranny fluid is like that then what other systems weren't serviced or maintained properly. Just to SCARY. HTH
