can the backseat go down into the trunk?

Question type: General

I need to put something in my trunk that is long but im wondering if my seats fold down?

As I understand it Mack there is an optional 60/40 rear seat in the 2003 ECHO that would allow for that. If you don't have a split rear seat you are probably out of luck. Usually when a seat can drop there's a release latch or more likely a button on the shoulder of the seat towards the door. There's also usually a visible lock on the back of the seat as you look into the trunk. Absent any of these things you probably don't have the option to drop the seat. Hope that helps.

Hi. You can fold the back seats forward, and have the "trunk" open into the car.
