Is 10w-30 motor oil okay to use in a 1996 subaru impreza?

Normally you would go by what the manual says. Once a vehicle gets a lot of miles you can go to a high mileage oil or a higher vis. oil.

Should be fine in warmer weather. The 5w is for cold weather.
