1998 subaru forester engine swap

Have a 1998 subaru forester with the 2.5 liter flat 4
twin cam. The body is trash but the engine and
transmission are great. What other years and
model subaru bodies would I be able to swap the
98 forester motor into?

Sell the parts and buy a newer car. You are wasting your money and time with this course of action.

Not sure how it's a waste of time or money seeing as blue book is about $2500 and I can do this swap for $800 then sell it. Thought this would be a helpful site, not just a bunch of armchair mechanics that just tell you to buy a new car. Is it possible or not is all I need to know.

Find an impreza of the same year(preferably a manual) and put everything from the foxy under and in it. The struts will even fit.( will lift the car about 4 inches tho)
