CAN YOU PUT A EJ2O SOHC 2.0 ENGINE IN A 1999 SUBARU FORESTER

I TOOK A 2.5 OUT BUT CAN'T FIND ONE TO REPLACE IT.
HAVE FOUND A 2.0 -WILL IT SWITCH OVER?MOUNTING-ELECTRICAL

Not without a hassle, you'd have to change the ECU to the one for the 2.0L and might be able to get away with modifying the wiring but may have to swap the whole wiring harness too.

I'm guessing you aren't in the USA? Where did you find a SOHC EJ20? What model and year is it out of?
