Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am trying to replace the passenger side lower dash panel on a 2000 Subaru
Outback. How? The original panel is sun damaged and I have a replacement, but I am
having problems getting past the glove box removal. The panel should just be
attached by four screws but it seems like it is attached somewhere else?

Not yet, but I have the replacement part and I know how to remove the glove box. I don't want to remove the whole dash for piece that seems like it should be fairly easy to replace.

I'm in Calif. and sell lots of Sube's. Just had 2 Outbacks repaired today on this area and they always look like crap. Never thought to replace. Have the part ordered, around $96 dollars, have the glove box out and replaced the filters and will let everyone know how it comes out. Hopefully you guys are all done and already know. Like the hidden screw behind the left side glove box you tug and tug on and finally see it. They the part falls out. More later.
