Electrical issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 02 Subaru forester has a charging issue I
checked all fuses got a battery tested and the
same with the altinator. It all passed any idea on
what could  b causing the issue. Wierd part is it all
started when the abs light cam on and now the at
oil temp keeps flashing.

Make sure the battery connections are free of corrosion and tight. Spend a couple of dollars and get a battery post cleaning tool. Check the transmission fluid too.

FOR is correct, Im disabled, hood up a kid cleaned the wire end whaere they bolt onto terminal, clned terminal, posts, it cranked right up. Prior to this I was able drive around (I suppose on alternator), yet batt wouldnt charge due to poor connections. Weird part for me is this happened yesterday, way home engine starts misfiring, then revving, barely made it home an its 30 hrs or so, and I havent touched it since I pulled in killed motor(which seemed hald-killed already,lol.). .

maybe your alternador does not have the voltage regulator inside of it.that will cause your battery to discharge.als you might have a short circuit.
