My 2004 Saturn ion

Hello my wife is stranded in Michigan and
I'm in NC,her car acts like a dead battery but
new battery also new alternator,trying to
figure it out she just say  it makes a click
sound so I'm not sure please help they are
trying to see if any grounds are loose but
need help.

I think she needs a jump start. Make sure all your cars have jumper cables in them.

Yes great idea but if she got a jump and her battery was bad then the jump wouldn't crank it???

It’s the ignition switch. Mine does the same thing when it gets to about freezing. I end up take a hair dryer to mine in the cold early mornings and after a minute it’ll crank right up.
