Car Alarm

Asked by Spencer Jul 23, 2016 at 08:39 PM about the 2004 Saturn ION

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car alarm is sporadically going off for now
reason. I have pulled the horn fuses to stop the
horn going off at night, but my hazard lights still
flash. What could be the issue?

Low battery due to alternator not charging. Have alternator voltage tested should be charging at 14 volts.

Mine does something similar - but only when it rains. So far, I've traced the problem to a leaky sunroof that drips into some of the electronics and corrodes the contacts. I still need to dig in and find out which connection is causing the problem.

Insert a penny with a piece of tape on door switch Stryker this role move Stryker in farther and stop interior lights and alarm system from coming on. Mostly on driver's door
