Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sympton 1: HVAC HI fuse removed to prevent constant blower ON when ignition is OFF
Sympton 2 (prior to #1 above): High Fan Setting #5 turned off while car running - Only 1-4 working.
Sympton 3 (prior to #2 above): Blower vent controls not working prior to #1 above, but AC and all fan settings work

Cannot turn off blower fan when turning off car. Please advise.

Find the blower relay and "tap" it. Sounds like it's latched on. Should be under the hood, perhaps in the relay center?

check under the dash by the blower box, next to the pass kick panel...check for a rubbed through wire...causing the relay to stay engaged...might have to open the harness to get a good look...twist the harness around a bit for a good visual inspection...this is a common problem on the gp's...hope this helps

I had the problem with high setting not working on both my GP'S.It's the resistor that's on the side of the blower motor. Here in Canada, they cost about $46-$50 dollars.
