The problem has been resolved. I'm trying to get rid of the warning light as the light is draining my battery

New out of box doesnt mean good, replaced mine w one off 08 malibu. Youll need to rearrainge two bolts the long and short and the pigtail off the malibu. Low amperage,shorted diode defective battery will trip this warning indicator. Just went through this w my 06
