Front brakes

Put new brakes on the front and the brakes stay on
when I release the brake pedal  what causes this
how do I fix it?

What causes my brakes to stay engaged when I release the brake pedal and also can't turn the rotors by hand it's as if brakes are holding it also they get hot to the touch


Sounds like the calipers are sticking. Did you clean and grease the caliper pins when you did the brake job? If you did grease them, then inspect the caliper piston boot, they might have torn when you compressed them in when installing the new pads.
