2002 pontiac montana overheating

Asked by Sep 07, 2017 at 09:13 AM about the 2002 Pontiac Montana

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 pontiac Montana that started
running hot. I've changed the thermostat
waterpump sensor radiator and heater core. The
fans are working. It runs hot but not all the way to
the red. I've bled the air but when driving it will go
almost to the red and the drop down to the halfway
mark then repeat the same process. What else
could it be other than the motor. There is no water
in oil. No smoke. Its a 3.4
