Your battery light may be on because of a loose belt. Check your belts to make sure they are all tight. Make sure your battery cable connections are also tight. You may also have a failing alternator. If you have access to a volt meter, test the output side of your alternator and make sure it's putting out 14 volts. I think the traction light will illuminate if your are having an issue with your brakes. Make sure your brake reservoir is full of fluid. It would be a better bet to bring to a garage and have your error codes read. There are numerous things that can make the trac light come on.
