it doesn't want to turn off they told me I have to
buy a new ignation switch an they come with new
keys but I have to program them I need help I don't
know what to do or how much it will cost
Look on the steering column directly under the ignition lock. You'll see a hole. Using a small screwdriver push up with the screwdriver in the hole and now you can turn the key to the lock position and remove the key. This is a common problem with these cars. It's usually the wiring harness inside of the center console for the shifter. HTH. -Jim
I agree. It's much more likely to be a electrical problem than a problem with the switch. The problem could be in the console or at the base of the steering column. The expense will be in finding the problem, the actual fix will likely cost very little. You'll need to find a shop that knows how to find electrical based problems. Very tough for a do it yourselfer to figure out.
