How did it go with that windshield washer pump?

Did you try to fix the pump?  I am wondering how it went because my wife's 2002 grand prix seems to have the same problem.  I am also not a wizard with cars, but i am not afraid to get my hands dirty.  And if anybody else reads this, is there a major difference from 2001 to 2002 that should make me want to do more research before I attempt this repair?

Not much, if anything, changed between the two model years. I would think it would be the same repair for the 02.
