Is there a trick to getting the new fan shroud in. I
removed the old one in a few pieces. My parts
store dosent carry the original fan so it takes the
shroud that come with the part.

The purpose of the shroud is to draw air through it while maximizing the most volume of air that your fan can pull through it and the radiator fins. Using a non-stock fan will likely require some cutting and shaping the shroud that came with the replacement until it fits as best as it can.
