What does it mean if my '03 pontiac sunfire smells like gas while im driving it?

I took it to someone to fix the window and when i
got it back, it stinks like gas. I can smell it
coming througj the vents

It is probably running really rich but it could also have a gas leak.

Are you getting black smoke out of the exhaust?

DO NOT drive the car. ANY TIME you can detect the odor or raw gasoline the risk of fire is huge. I know, easy for me to say to don't drive the car, you need it. But a car fire can overwhelm you before you realize what's happening. If you have to get it to a shop, please please do not have children in the car. The car can be replaced. YOU can't be
