Water leaking on passenger floor under blower motor area!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Pontiac sunfire 4 door. Recently i have noticed that there is water on my floor mat on the passenger side. I looked under the area where the blower motor is and seen what looked like  a drip coming from the are. Thinking it might be the heater core.Any ideas on where the leak might be coming from ?

heater core very possible but also have you been running the a/c while this was happening. if your in an area where its warm enough to run the a/c there is a drain tube that sits under the evaporator that if it gets clogged up instead of dripping on the pavement will back up all that moisture and it will end up dripping inside the car.... SMELL IT if its fishy-heater core... if its scentless prolly just the drain tube clogged

No, it wasn't. No anti-freeze present. The drain hose for the cabin air intake was plugged up, common problem.
