2004 Pontiac Grand Prix Gt Wont Start- Changed Starter/Fresh Battery

Asked by May 02, 2017 at 07:38 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I pulled up at work one morning, car running normal as usual. when i got off
that afternoon. my vehicle wouldnt start. it probably made a couple ticks trying
to turn over and then nothing. i tried jumping it off (batteryless than 3 months
old) but it didnt work. plus it wasnt showing any loss of power. i replaced the
starter and it started up immediately. i drove it home. stopped a couple places
on the way home which i turned the car off n on a couple times before i got
home. no problem. the next morning i go to start it and i gets nothing. as
before when i was at work. i take my old orignal starter up to the autoparts
store to get checked out and they tested my starter 3 times and it passed.
what am i missing? this is starting to hit a nerve because i do alot of work out
of my car and i need her back up n running asap. plz hellp!!!!
