Can you install a non abs wheelberring on a car with abs

If you could the ABS light would be on all the time and your ABS would not work.

Hubs with the ABS don't cost very much. I just did my F150 and I think they cost $100 for the pair and now my ABS works again!

Used wheel bearings are probably false economy. Check Amazon to see what they charge.

Well it is illegal for a junk yard to sell parts like that, anything pertaining to the front end, steering, bearings, they need to be replace with new.

Wheel bearings are a safety issue. Disabling the ABS is foolish.

I am in the U.P. of Michigan. Like F.O.R. says, it is a safety issue, there would be liabilities.

This is a chance to educate your step son on responsibility and looking ahead at the possible consequences of driving a car that is not as safe as it should be. His life is just beginning, help him start it out on the right foot.
