Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 grand prix. I had recently had my battery connectors replaced. & now 4 days later my car wouldn't start & so I simply got a jump & it started but now my light has come on saying "starting disabled due to theft system"? does this mean now it will not start again & I will continue to have this problem? also I have a brand new battery & it will not hold a charge if it sits longer then a 24 hour period. Ill need a jump after sitting, but yet if I drive the vehicle all day I don't have a probem? I'm confused....

With the security system involved you'll have to be towed to your local GM dealer for repair. HTH. -Jim
