So if there is oil in the water what should I
do or what's the procedure for a Pontiac
Grand Prix 2004

Then check for water in the oil, the engine oil will be milky color if there is, if that's the case then the likely hood of it having a blown headgasket is high, have it towed to a shop you trust so they can perform a block check to confirm.

Check the color of the oil in the radiator, if it is red then the tranny cooler inside the radiator is cracked and allowing the trans fluid too mix with the coolant so it is also possible that the coolant is getting into the transmission, this will require a flushing of the transmission and replacement of the radiator, or bypass the cooler with an add on transmission cooler and blocking off the ports on the radiator.
