2007 pontiac montana fuel economy

Asked by jtow Nov 20, 2007 at 07:14 PM about the 2005 Pontiac Montana

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Van is rated at 33 mpg hwy and 22 city.
I get 17 city and 22 hwy. GM says they can do nothing unless an error code shows. At this moment it appears I own a lemon!
Any other disappointments?

This is no joke.... but .... I was only getting 21 to 23 mpg on highway. I started to use Shell regular gas exclusively for 1 month (due to convience driving to work location). My gas mileage went to 25 mpg, then 26 mpg, then 27 mpg and finally 28 mpg. A STEADY 28MPG unless I added other suppliers gas!! Try it , you might like it>

LoL I just run into this....33mpg? Are you reading what it says about the malibu? Or if you look at utube you can run the van by water. JK It's a wet dream!!!! I'm sorry.. It is what it is, it's a gas van not a hybrid van or a diesel small van. They will not let that much mpg in the US for now.
