I have a 2003 Pontiac grand am the interior lights not working?

the dashboard lights work fine just not the main cabin lights. Does it just need
a new light or what?

Well you need to check for burnt out bulbs first, if there is still a problem check the setting for the dome lights by the light switch, to make sure it is not off for the dome lights.
