What is wrong?

Asked by Dec 11, 2018 at 02:19 PM about the 2005 Pontiac G6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm trying to fix a leaking transmission. My
car use at least a quart of fluid a week. I had
the seal replaced and the leak stopped. After
two months the leak started back. What
shall I do?

Most likely location for a leak is the cooler lines that run to the radiator. Then there are the input, output and torque converter seals. If you're lucky, it might be only the pan gasket. If you want to find it, et under the car. Otherwise take it to a trans shop; you'll probably need then to fix it anyway.
