Not sure about where you live, but there are places where colored headlights are illegal. People have been ticketed for this in California.

As they should be.

Why Blue? When to get to high in the color spectrum you start to loose down the road visual and start illuminating just road signs and highway lines or anything with reflective qualities. I wouldn't go any higher than 6500K and make sure those are DOT approved.
