Thinking about buying an '04 Audi A6 3.0

The vehicle I'm looking at was involved in a minor
front end collision, however, it turns over but
doesn't start and pisses fuel.  

My father believes it's a collision kill switch or
clogged injectors.  I believe it's the crankshaft
sensor.

Apart from mechanical problems my father and I
are still deciding on whether we should buy the car  
and if it's a good investment.
