I have a 98 plymouth voyager, was driving on the freeway and loss acceleration. When I pulled over to side I tried turning it back on and it won't start, what could be the problem?

Also oil light was on the whole trip but it has oil, would not stop beeping. The brain was replaced about 6 months or so. Other than that only thing I've had problems with is the belt slipping off because we put a bypass pulley and the guy didn't put the spacers.
