where is the thermostat

On most engines if you follow the upper radiator hose to the engine, it will lead you to the thermostat housing. Be careful you don't install the thermostat backwards. Look/see that the thermostat coils face the engine during installation. If your engine overheats, first check that the radiator fans are coming on when hot.
