I have a 2001oldsmobile silhouette and it started hard this morning and chudd a bit then stopped running and now it will turn over but will not start, and yes there is gas in it.

I have a 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette and it keeps over heating first problem was it had a hole in a hose so changed it that caused the serpentine belt to snap changed that also took thermostat out for few days didn't stop so replaced with a new one then changed my water pump and I'm still over heating and now it acts like it dont want to start takes forever to start and looses power when I slow down and is still overheating 5 Answers

Changed my thermostat changed my water pump and new serpentine belt and still overheating??? So today were going to change the alternator, but need more information on if I'm right or wrong
