How do I get into the trunk?

Asked by Twilite_90 Dec 11, 2009 at 05:09 PM about the 1991 Nissan Maxima

Question type: General

I tried using the key, but it didn't work. And I don't know how to get into it, is there a button or anything inside of the car that I can try? This is my first car.

you may have a frosen lock. get an all metal key and heat it up, or put a flame right at the key hole, get wd40 or alcohal(not boose) and put it in the hole. it should work, if you dont have an offset key(a key that was cut wrong)

if you can get inside your trunk through the back seats, and able to get to the latch mechanizm, spray the hell out of it with liquid wrench, as goes for the keyhole on the ouside, just make sure the spray sraw is inside the lock cylinder...wait a few minutes n play with the key
