I warped the head of my motor on a 99
Nissan altima.....is there a way I can
get the warped parts replaced without
havn to get a new/used motor?
If I do need another motor.....what
other kind of motor would work on my
car if I can't get the one I actually
Have the head checked at a machine shop, if it is still good and not cracked they should be able to mill it flat, then all you have too do is replace the top ends gaskets and seals.
How did you "warp" it? how do you know it is "warped"? only a machine shop can tell what is wrong with that head- are you sure it isn't just a blown head gasket? so many questions- I can't see how a '99 Altima would be worth the time and money- maybe a head gasket but major surgery?
