INTERIOR LIGHTS,HORN AND POWER SEATS NOT WORKING

Asked by HEATHERLP1973 May 06, 2017 at 08:59 AM about the 2000 Nissan Altima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Good Morning, my 2000 nissan Alitima sat for the last 2 years with only randomly being started.  We recently got it back on the road. We replaced the Mass air flow sensor, both o2 sensors and the Front Cat as well as the spark plugs .  (the reason we replaced the Cat was because the manifold was glowing red ). we replaced the sensors because codes for them came up.

now everything seems to be good , until yesterday morning I got in the car and tried to move the seats forward because my BF is much taller than me I found that they would not move at all :(      when we first started the car after not running we found that the airbag light was flashing and the radio was not working .....but all of the lights and seats and windows were working anyhow he replaced a fuse and the airbag light went off and the radio started to work .....maybe not related to each other because i do not think all of my gauges and lights on my dashboard are working now anyhow so the airbag light going off may be because everything else is not working.

I also checked my horn it is not working either.

everything else is working !!!!   my headlights are working, my brake lights are working.   seems like it is all interior except for the wipers (they are the only exterior thing not working )

any idea's on what to do and check !!!!   and advice when we do check !!!
i am stuck without my car because i can not

Double check all your fuses. Also look for where any critters may have nibbled at your wiring harness. This is very common with vehicles that have sat undriven for a while. I would also check battery to make sure all connections are clean and tight. A loose or dirty connection could cause such issues. Pay real close attention to the negative connections on the frame and motor also.
