Cylinder #6

Asked by Wbrock0012 Feb 21, 2017 at 06:29 PM about the 2003 Nissan Frontier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Supercharged 2003 Nissan
Frontier 4x4 6 cylinder. Well cylinder
number 6 will not fire. I've changed my
plugs and plug wires. I took it to a local
garage and they told me to put a new
distributor on it. So I did. No the truck
stalls out while idling and I still don't have
any fire on cylinder #6

i know this is a bit late to the party but it could be an injector. #6 is under the intake so if you have to change it you are best off changing all the injectors. as for the stalling after new distributor it might be a couple of deg off time. if you pull the intake go ahead and change or relocate the knock sensor since the vg33 has issues with it being heat soaked and failing.
