Just dead

Asked by Apr 10, 2017 at 06:17 PM about the 2004 Nissan Maxima

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Daughter was driving home and the car just kept stalling
and bogging out on her. I met up with her started to drive
about 1/4 mile, car started bogging out as I pulled off to
the side of the road the car just died. Later that night had
it towed to my house. Tow truck driver had a booster and
started the car right up when he got it on the truck he took
the boost off and said if the car shuts down its probably
the alternater if its still running when we get it to your
house it's probably the batter, I changed out the battery
with one of the other cars in the driveway. It started right
up but would barely move out of its own way even when I
had the pedal to the floor, then it just died. Any help would
be appreciated
