Selling cars that are sold ?/

Why do Car dealers put cars on CarGurus that are already sold ? Look at the 2020 Corvettes...The same day they put it on and you acquire about it they tell you it was sold yesterday ???  And 95% of the 2020 Vettes on the site are already sold...Why don't they take them off when sold instead of wasting everybodys time..

That is a question for the dealer. You can message them back to ask. I can only guess they don't have someone updating their online inventory within the day.
