Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so I have a 1998 eclipse that got bought
for me and it’s been sitting for about a year
and a half it runs gotta jump it off though but
my question is when I start it up it doesn’t
make a sound good clean and running but
after a minute it starts to make a slight
grinding sound in the motor that goes on and
on slowly I need help to fix what is it?

That noise might be a pulley on one of the accessories (power steering, AC, alternator). Might also be a water pump. I would associate a "grinding" noise with a bearing. Engine noises tend to be ticking or knocking noises. Only real way to know is get under the hood and find what is causing it.
