My 1989 Chevy tuck shut off while driving and I
have no power to my dash bored lights it won't
make a noise when I put the key in no lights come
on don't even try to turn over battery should be
good

You should check for voltage drops on both main power and ground cables. Depending on body style you should check for blown fuse links down by the starter if this is the old body style, if the new style then check for blown main fuses inside the power distribution box.
