Mitsubishi Galant 2002 keeps cutting off when given gas and turns off when stopped for too long. , what can it be?

Asked by KellyVargus May 28, 2017 at 07:21 PM about the 2002 Mitsubishi Galant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Mitsubishi Galant 2002 that when driving i push the gas but it takes a
while to get gas. I also reach certain MPH and it cuts off at 30, 45 and 60. It
pushes back then continues to go, it never fully stops, it just has like a delay.
But recently its been turning off when its too long at stops and i start it again
and have to push on the gas in order for it not to turn off immediately. What
can be the issue? Need help please and thank you.

I don't know, ill check it out, thank you, any other suggestions on what else to check. Ive seen post about the throttle body and idle control being filled with carbon.
