will a 50A fuse work in place of the 30A that is recomended for the covertable top on a 2004 mitsibishi eclipse spyder gt?

the convertibal
ble top on my mitsubishi spyder doesnt go down and i checked the fuse for where there is
suppoed to be a 30A i found a 50A and was wondering if that makes a difference?

recommended fuse settings are for a reason. If you use a bigger fuse than your supposed to then you could burn out the motor to your top if there were an electrical issue.

would that be related to whats killing my battery?i bought this car not even a week ago.the brake lights keep staying on when the car is off,wiggling the brakes helps get them off but even still i keep ending up with a dead battery.

itll work great until you either burn the motor out or the wires melt and possibly start a fire but yeh will work great til that happens
