Window driver side rear

Asked by Sep 03, 2016 at 07:33 PM about the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Well this oughta be a good one.
I know nothing about cars and
my mother's window and her
Gallant on the rear driver side I
believe needs a regulator I was
told. How much does this cost
and can a girl that knows
nothing about cars be able to fix
it?

You would have to remove the inner door panel with the proper tools, and remove the window regulator and replace. Cost for the regulator is $70-$100. Check youtube for some videos to see what your getting into..... https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=iWwLee4t7dU.......I commend your willingness to learn, but if you run into trouble, is the car in a garage so if you need a couple days the window can be down and car torn apart? Good Luck! A shop probably charges $300, call around for quotes.

Thank You, appreciate it.
