Bad starter? Bad starter selinoid?

The starter is bad. Try hit it with a hammer(don't hit it too hard to break the starter) a couple of times, the starter will almost always work and the engine will start. If working you have found the problem.

  • 2006 Endeavor doesn't lock/unlock with key.

    Keys won't lock/unlock, and door switches only lock/unlock when engine is running. Also, the radio quit working while driving and message on radio said "communication error".
