2002 Mini with check engine light on. I have been told it is running to rich. Can't remember the code. Any ideas

My 2002 mini which I bought used a year ago is a manual transmission and the check engine light is on. Drivers window won't go down. Can't remember code for engine light but was told it was running to rich

So you plan on fixing it yourself? Sensors rely on correct info getting to them where one sensor may be bad giving the next bad info. so now you have 2 or three trouble codes caused by one bad. Need the analyzer and some one experienced to know what is effecting what.

Mother planning on fixing it myself. Have already very recently replaced 4 sensors, brake lines and a few other things done at the dealer's. Trying I guess to figure out if this would require going to a dealer. Have had a couple of people tell me it's the sensor in front of the emission control.
