A few more ideas: Who installed your new battery? If it was a DEALER (seller of batteries OR a TIRE/MINI dealer) take your MINI back to the installer and have them properly test the actual battery to ensure it meets ALL new battery requirements. The battery itself could be faulty and you may then qualify, under the warranty, for a freebie, replacement battery. If YOU did the installation, undo what you did and restart the process again, covering each step carefully, especially ensuring the connections and the cables are properly fitted, as Tom originally suggested. If this doesn’t bring you overall positive results then take the battery back to the seller for for a complete testing. Oh yes, make sure ALL the connection points are clean. I hope these suggestions are helpful and you get your chariot up and running as it should!! LET’S MOTOR!!
