I purchased a 2005 mini cooper s from a private owner. The steering wheel has the telephone buttons but no blue tooth. Can blue tooth be installed to utilize the buttons and where would I get it

I own a 2005 MCS as well. The button does not and will not work. Can't find the link but I read a post on North American Motoring. Sorry...

The parts are available to do this, but they are cost prohibitive. Parts only, you're looking at ~$1,100 USD. That doesn't include labor for installation. If you have it, the best alternative is to get an external bluetooth receiver and plug it into the 3.5mm aux input jack.
